Tiger Den Resort
Location Tiger Den Resort is located on the main Ranthambhore Road at Khilchipur Village in Ranthambhore. The Sawai Madhopur railway station is about 10 kilometres away from the resort while the Ranthambhore National Park is about 4 kilometres away. Tiger Den Resort is spread across an area of 5 acres. Covered with lavish flora and fauna, the resort boasts of a beautiful and fragrant rose garden at the entrance. A path leads you to the open-air reception where the staff is warm and welcoming. Rooms All the rooms at Tiger Den Resort encircle a sprawling garden or the swimming pool. Of the 50 Cottage rooms available here, 38 are Deluxe rooms, 10 are Superior rooms and 2 are Suite rooms. Of the 38 Deluxe rooms, 20 are pool facing duplex units. The Deluxe rooms are spacious with traditional Mughal print motif furnishings. The furniture in the rooms comprise twin or double beds with side tables, a study table, chairs surrounding a coffee table and a wardrobe in the dressing area. All the Deluxe rooms also have a balcony or sit out area. The Superior rooms are housed in a semi private block and have been newly constructed. The rooms are large, airy and are richly furnished. The Suite rooms are the most spacious rooms at Tiger Den Resort. There is a separate lounge area with a sofa and study table on entering, which leads in to the bedroom, which has a half 4-poster bed with side tables. There is a private dressing area as well. All the room categories have attached washrooms with a shower area or bath tub, hot and cold running water and toiletries and linen provided for. In-room amenities across the Deluxe, Superior and Suite rooms include air conditioning, intercom telephone, mini fridge and a tea/coffee maker. Dining Tiger Den Resort offers a multi cuisine restaurant that serves a lavish buffet for all meals, serving Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. There is also a separate alfresco dining area and separate bar. The seating capacity of the restaurant and bar is about 110 guests. Tiger Den Resort has a barbeque set up in the evening on one of the lawns along with a bonfire. Room service is not available at the resort. Facilities For guests to relax, the Tiger Den Resort has a swimming pool and hammocks to laze on. There is also a Kerala Ayurveda massage center. Other guest facilities like laundry service, housekeeping, doctor on call, gift shop, internet and currency exchange is also available. Tiger Den Resort can organise jungle safaris, cultural shows, treks, nature walks, excursions and other outdoor activities on request. Please note: If you require the hotel to book a jungle safari for you, please provide details of all guests (Guest name / ID number (Passport / Driving License / Pan Card) / Age / Nationality) at the time of hotel booking to facilitate timely booking of the safari. Note: Due to an animal census being conducted by the Ministry of Forest from April 30, 2009 to May 4, 2009, the Ranthambhore National Park will be open ONLY for afternoon safaris during this time. In addition, the Park will remain closed for both drives on May 8 and May 9, 2009. The Ranthambore National Park will remain closed from July 1, 2009 to September 30, 2009, due to monsoon season.

Ranthambore
